Alan L. Benedict, M.D. and Hersh Chopra, M.D. have been in practice in Marietta since 1993. Together with Namita Sagar, M.D., Sid Gottlieb, O.D., we are committed to providing individualized attention to our patient’s needs.
We were the first practice in the area to offer to computerized optic nerve analysis for the treatment and diagnosis of glaucoma.
We were also the first practice in the area to perform cataract surgery with a gentle topical anaesthetic thereby eliminating the need for needles. This new cataract surgery technique has since been adopted by the majority of physicians in this area.
Our full service treatment and diagnositic center is state of the art with two multiwave length lasers, fluorescein angiography, computerized optic nerve analysis and digital fundus photography. Because we offer these treatments in our office, rather than in the surgery center, we can often perform these treatments at the same time as your appointment. This will decrease your expense and the inconvenience of another visit.
Georgia Eye Specialists were highlighted on the front page of the Marietta Daily Journal for our BOTOX® treatments. Both Dr. Chopra and Dr. Benedict have flown throughout the world to teach our techniques to other doctors and are avid physician volunteers.
